Peace walk draws hundreds on Mother's Day

2009 Walk for Peace: Participants in the 13th annual Mothers' Walk for Peace pass the Second Church of Dorchester on Sunday, May 10, 2009.Hundreds turned out to join the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute's 13th annual Mothers' Walk for Peace yesterday morning. Above, the walk made the turn at the Second Church of Dorchester in Codman Square. The walk follows a course from Town Field in Fields Corner through Codman, Four Corners, Columbia Road and Bowdoin-Geneva, before returning to Town Field.
