Man shot to death on Whitman Street

The Boston Police Department reports a man in his mid 20s was found with gunshot wounds around 1:45 a.m., Monday, behind 36 Whitman St.

The man, shot twice to the chest, was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Dorchester and Mattapan murders over the past year.
