Vote now to bring new trees to the Neponset Greenway

The Boston Natural Areas Network and the state's Department of Conservation and Recreation are asking for Dorchester and Mattapan to help them win an online contest that will help plant new trees along the Neponset River Greenway.

"Our friends at Odwalla have a plant-a-tree contest where if BNAN/MADCR get enough votes we will win $10,000 to plant trees along the popular path," says Bill Stanton of BNAN. "We need to be in the top 10 nationwide to win."

Voting continues until May 31, 2012. Go online to Odwalla's website and then click on Neponset River State Park to vote for our project.

"You can only vote once, so please share this message with your friends through word of mouth, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.," adds Stanton.
