A Dorchester resident captured a large swarm of bees swarm the back of an unfortunate car on Stoughton Street at Sumner Street in Uphams Corner, shortly before 4 p.m. on Monday.

The resident, who goes by the name of OffTheDot on Twitter, said the bees seemed to be just looking for a new home, not a fight.

The bees were "definitely live and buzzing! Seemed more into swarming than attacking. I stood on edge of swarm without incident (and no sudden movements)."
