Thursday (15th) – Adams Street Branch of the BPL begins a weekly class, “Introduction to Watercolor and Creative Problem Solving,” 12:30-2:30 p.m. As part of the Creative Aging program, artist and teacher Susan Krause will lead a progressive class in drawing, watercolor painting, and creative problem solving for adults aged 55 and up. Monday (19th) – Celebrate MLK Day in Franklin Park doing service, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Meet at the Franklin Park Golf Clubhouse, One Circuit Drive, Dorchester, MA 02121 for an interactive discussion about racism and its impact today. All ages are welcome, including youth, church, student, or community groups. Bring a bag lunch or $5 for pizza. After lunch we’ll head into the woods to clear invasive vines that are killing young oak trees. For

Tuesday (20th) – Dorchester Day Parade Committee meets at 7p.m.at the Ramada Inn 800 Morrissey Blvd., in the breakfast room.
