Sunday (21st) – A tribute service and luncheon for Rev. Arthur Lavoie, the minister of First Parish Dorchester, who is leaving his position after ten years of remarkable service. Worship service starts at 11 a.m., luncheon to follow catered by Restaurante Cesaria. All are welcome.

– Public meeting for all civic groups and neighbors surrounding South Bay Center regarding the proposed expansion project, 7 p.m., Plumbers Union Local 12, 1230 Massachusetts Ave., Dorchester.

Saturday (27th)
– Cedar Grove Baseball celebrates Collins Day, its annual field day at Ventura Park with a day-long series of games and a cookout. Ceremony beings at 11:30 a.m.

• Ashmont Hill Chamber Music will present two young Dorchester musicians at their Dorchester Rising Stars benefit, 5 -9 p.m. at The Carriage House home of Nancy Anderson at 31 Ocean St., will feature performances by cellist Tony Rymer and pianist Phuong-Nghi Pham followed by a reception with food and drink. • The Milton Music Festival returns to Hutchinson’s Field on the top of Milton Hill overlooking the beautiful Neponset River on June 27-28. The festival begins on Sat., June 27 at 4 p.m. with live music, artwork, a Touch a Truck event, and face painting.
