Gallivan Boulevard bank held up less than a month after last holdup

Gallivan Boulevard bank robbery suspect

The Boston Police Department reports the Santander Bank branch at 780 Gallivan Blvd. was held up Monday afternoon by a man who demanded a teller hand over "all the large bills."

After she handed over money, around 1:15 p.m., the man left and ran down Neponset Avenue, police say.

He's described as white, in his 30s or 40s, bald and about 6'2" and thin.

If he looks familiar, call detectives at 617-343-4335 or contact the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or by texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

The branch was last held up by a hoodie wearer on Oct. 21, although that robber was described as black.
