Protestors call for halt to evictions, big rent hikes

On Saturday, October 4, hundreds of people marched up Dorchester Ave from Fields Corner to Hancock Street in protest of evictions and rent increases. Marchers who joined the Right to Remain Boston assembly demanded passage of a Just Cause Eviction ordinance that would require landlords to have a reason to evict tenants and would require them to talk with tenants if they want to impose large rent increases.
