Ashmont Hill Chamber Music will partner with Boston City Singers for a program of Art Song on Sunday, November 6 at 4 p.m. in Peabody Hall, All Saints’ Church, 209 Ashmont St., Dorchester.

As fewer chamber music series program art songs, it is the goal of Ashmont Hill Chamber Music and Boston City Singers to keep this exquisite form alive. To this end, AHCM has scheduled a weekend residency with prominent Boston area soloists.

On Saturday, mezzo soprano Krista River and tenor Eric Christopher Perry, along with accompanist and vocal coach Christopher Walter will hold workshops with the Boston City Singers’ Tour Choir. On Sunday, AHCM will present a concert featuring the soloists, who will perform both alone and with the Tour Choir. The program includes works by Brahms, Schubert, Britten and Noel Coward.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the door or online at ahchambermusic.org. Children of all ages are welcome and those under the age of 12 are admitted free. A reception follows the Sunday concert.
