B.G.C.A. Fine Arts & Photography Contests - The Club will once again be submitting works created by Club members into Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Fine Arts and Imagemakers Photography contests. Artwork and photos exhibited at our “Arts Bash” events will be sent to the Northeast Regional exhibits which will be held in New York City. Winning pieces from the Regional event will be forwarded to the National exhibit in New Orleans in May. February School Vacation Week- The Club will offer school vacation week programming from 2/16 to 2/19. Pre-registered members ages 5 to 12 will enjoy a full day schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. while our teen members will have programming from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Special events for our day program participants include a “Beat the Staff” challenge, a trip to the Fenway Park Batting Cages and a Carnival. Teen members, who do not need to pre-register, will enjoy a Skate Party at the Neponset Rink, a Movie Night and a C.S.I. Workshop with the Boston Police. Alumni & Friends Reunion Event - The Club will be hosting an Alumni & Friends Reunion event on March 11th at Florian Hall from 7:00 p.m. - Midnight. Tickets will be $25 on-line or $30 at the door. We look forward to catching up with our former members, volunteers and parents on this special night.
