Thursday (21st) – Uphams Corner Main Street annual meeting starts at 8 a.m .at Restaurant Laura, 688 Columbia Road, Dorchester. The event will include updates on new developments in the area, including plans for the re-use of Comfort Station and an Imagine Boston 2030 presentation.

• Monthly meeting of the Boston State Hospital Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) will be held at the Foley Building, 249 River St., Mattapan from 6-8 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend.

Saturday (23rd)

Monday (25th)
– The final meeting in a series focused on upcoming improvements to Roberts Playground starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Great Hall of the Codman Square Health Center, 6 Norfolk St., Dorchester. Following a brief presentation, community members will be able to offer input. In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on Jan, 27, at the same time and location. Tuesday (26th)
– St. Mark’s Area Civic Association meets at 7 p.m. in the church hall, 1725 Dorchester Ave. C-11 Police Officer Mike Keaney will provide the police report.
Peter Brown of 47 Dracut Street
will present his request for a variance for a driveway with two parking spaces.
Jack Wu from the Homestead Café
will tell the group about the new café and bakery opening in Fields Corner at 1448 Dorchester Ave.
Gail Willett from the city’s Assessing Department
will talk about the recent real estate assessments with an increase in property taxes. Also: Epiphany School
will update the community on their expansion plans.

Wednesday (27th)

Thursday (28th)
