BREAKING NEWS
Woman dies in apparent suicide jump in Lower Mills

A woman died Wednesday (Oct. 18) after apparently plunging from the fifth floor of the Walter Baker apartment building complex in Lower Mills. Boston Police would not release the name of the 44 year-old victim, but she was thought to be a resident of the apartment complex at 1200 Adams Street. Boston Police were called to the scene at 12:52 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a "suicidal female threatening to jump," according to a police spokesperson. Upon arrival, the victim was found on the ground in cardiac arrest, with a pulse, but no blood pressure.

"A window was found open in a fifth-floor apartment, which was secured," said Boston Police Officer Eddy Chrispin. The victim was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.
