Family, friends remember fallen corrections officer

An estimated 1500 people turned out last Friday night at Florian Hall to remember the life of Ricky Dever, a Suffolk County corrections officer who was killed last March. Above, Mrs. Kathy Dever, Ricky's mother, presented a scholarship in her son's name to Quincy's Steven McGee.
