Iraq vet from Dot loses feet, but not his fight

President George W. Bush visited U.S. Army Sgt. Brian Fountaine, 25, of Dorchester, and his mother, Roberta Quimby, during a visit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. on Monday. Fountaine lost parts of both legs when an IED [Improvized Explosive Device] exploded beneath a truck he was riding in during his second tour of Army duty in Iraq. UMass-Boston closes original garage
The university moved to shutter their crumbling in-door parking garage, decreasing the amount of parking available on campus by 1,560 spots. The garage, crippled by factors ranging from shoddy to construction to exposure to the elements, will remain closed indefinitely.
