Public Workshop on the ongoing PLAN: GLOVER’S CORNER, DORCHESTER will be held today from 5:30-8 p.m. at IBEW Local 103, 256 Freeport St., Dorchester. The discussion will focus on land use that guides what types of activities and buildings are allowed in the neighborhood. The purpose of this workshop is to have a dialogue with the community about the future land uses that would shape a vision for the Study Area.

The planning team will facilitate small group discussions to explore where to preserve, enhance, and grow through patterns of land use. The PLAN initiative is an opportunity to think strategically about the future of Glover’s Corner. In close partnership with the community, we will explore what and where to preserve, enhance, and grow. The goal of this planning initiative is to establish goals and strategies for the Study Area to guide short- and long-term investments and to serve as a foundation for updating zoning.
