Many hands made Dot Park's Easter Egg Hunt a big success

To the Editor:
Thanks to everyone who helped to make the 13th annual Easter Egg Hunt a great success. Thanks to Mayor Thomas M. Menino and to the Boston Parks Department. Also thank you to the members of the Dorchester Park Association and friends.

Special thanks to Thomas and Mary Caufield, Rita Bennett, Jane Mullaney, Barbara O’Leary, Michael Boyer and the 8th Grade Class from the Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy, Project Deep Kids, Eascare Ambulance Services for filling the 5,000 Easter eggs.

With great appreciation to our sponsors: Mt. Washington Bank, Jack Forbush and Joe Downey, Eascare Ambulance Services, George Gilpin and Ryan Whitcomb and staff, Rite-Aid, Sandy, Ethel and Suzie and Philips Candy House, Mary Anne Nagel for all of their help.

Also, we would like to show our appreciation for a magnificent job done by the Easter Bunny (Prince Unaegbu) and his two helpers from Pope John Paul II Academy, Michael Gabelus and DeJion Evans, great job! Also thanks to everyone who helped Richard O’Mara and myself clean the park in March.

I hope to see everyone at the Dorchester Park Clean Up on April 25 at 9 a.m. Meet at the Dorchester Ave entrance.

Thanks again,
Jane K. Boyer
