United Way Community Care Day
By
On Sept. 15, the Boys and Girls Club will team with the United Way of Massachusetts Bay and volunteers from the Federal Reserve Bank to take part in United Way’s Community Care Day event. The United Way, which reaches out to member non-profits in need of volunteer activities has paired the Club with the Bank, who will serve as our corporate partner for the day. Nearly 20 volunteers from the company are expected to take part in the event which will be spent re-painting various program spaces within the Marr Clubhouse located on Deer Street. We thank the employee volunteers for committing the time needed to complete the project and to The United Way for their ongoing support of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dorchester.
