Aquatic Program News - The Marr-lin Swim Team is in the midst of a busy stretch, just recently hosting a Family Fun Night, attending the Taunton Invitational and hosting the Annual Beanpool Meet this past weekend. The team will host the 10&U Invitational Boys and Girls Club Meet (3/9) before heading off to Greenwich, CT the weekend of 3/16 & 3/17 to take part in the Regional Championships. After this meet, members who have qualified, will continue to train for the National Championship Meet in St. Petersburg, FL (4/5 to 4/9). Meanwhile, Marr-lin team members will get a small break before registration begins (4/1) for the Intramural Swim League. In addition, the current 7-week session of Swim Lessons for ages 3-18 began the week of 3/4 with any remaining openings being filled on a first come basis. Our final Lesson session will begin the week of 4/29. Lastly, our Spring Lifeguard Training Class will begin on 4/29. For information contact Aquiles Gomes (agomes@bgcdorchester.org).

Music Program News - Members of the Lesson program (drums, trumpet, bass, voice, piano and guitar) will meet weekly through the 4/19 recital. Meanwhile we will host a Best Dance Crew Contest (3/13), our monthly Open Mic Night (3/15), and continue to prepare for the Clubhouse Idol Concert at the Strand Theater (4/5). Fine Arts Program - Our current session of Fine Arts Classes (painting, art masters, sculpture, handmade books, illustration, storybook art, art sampler, beginning embroidery, photography, teen t-shirts and recycled art) began this week with any remaining spots filled on a first come basis.
