Co-ed Intramural Soccer Begins

Co-ed Intramural Soccer Begins - The 4-team Intramural Soccer league for members ages 8-12 began this past Friday. In the opener F.C. Barcelona needed overtime to defeat Manchester United 3-2. Frank DePina (2 goals) and Aja Credle (1 goal) led F.C. Barclelona while Edmilson Teixeira (1 goal) and Emanny Rodrigues (1 goal) led Manchester United. In the second game Inter Milan, behind the offense of Isaiah Gomes (3 goals), William O’Malley (1 goal) and Edson Pina (1 goal) defeated Celtic F.C. 5-1. Joao Lopes (1 goal) led the Celtic F.C. offense. The Defensive Player of the Week was Leilani Correia while the Offensive Player of the week was Isaiah Gomes. Attorney General to Visit the Club - On Wednesday, April 24th, Attorney General, Martha Coakley will visit the Club to recognize our young artists that participted in the Victim Witness Calendar project. The following members artwork was selected to be included in the calendar: Emma Parker, Michael Pellitteri, Cristian Beato, Madeline Murphy, Jessica Martin, Jessica Batista, Gabriela Gold, Chaya Spencer, Erica Correia, Shannon Zarnoch and Kayla Salaman. First Time Homebuying Seminar - The Boys and Girls Club will partner with the Field’s Corner Thrive in Five program and AnnieMac Home Mortgage to offer a First Time Homebuyers Workshop on Saturday, April 27th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This entertaining and informative workshop will shed insight on the home buying process.
