December Special Events - With the holidays included, December is going to a busy month for our members. On 12/1 we will host the Super Bowl for the Senior Flag Football league. On 12/2 and 12/3 look for the Gymnastics Recitals for the Monday and Tuesday classes respectively, as well as the fitting sessions for those members invited to attend our Shawnee Peak Ski Trip in January. On 12/4 we will take part in a Job Shadow Day with the M.B.T.A. as well as take members to see “The Nutcracker.” On 12/6 we will host the Girls 10&U Intramural Floor Hockey Championship and follow that up with the $100 for 100 event and the the Marr-lins taking on the Arlington Club on 12/7. On 12/8 we will host the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation Christmas Party while the Marr-lins will take part in the Nashua Senior Meet. On 12/12 and 12/13 we will host Auditions for our new Theater program. On 12/14 we will host two more Intramural Floor Hockey Championships (10&U Boys and 18&U Co-ed) while the Marr-lins will travel to Chelsea. The Club will be closed for Staff Training on 12/16 and on 12/18 we will host the Christmas Family Dinner. On 12/20 we will hold our Teen Christmas Party and follow that up with Parties on 12/23 for ages 5-12. School Vacation week (12/26, 12/27, 12/30 and 12/31 will feature special area-specific workshops to enroll in for the week. For information please contact Mike Joyce (mjoyce@bgcdorchester.org).

Winter Athletics Registration - On 12/7 we will host registration for the Winter session of Athletics which will include Boys Low Rim Basketball (ages 11&U), Girls Low Rim Basketball (ages 12&U), the Co-ed 14&U Basketball league and the Little Rim and Low Rim Basketball Clinic programs.
