Fine Arts Program

Fine Arts Program - The late Spring session of Fine Arts classes is beginning this week with the following opportunities: Self-Portraits (mondays), Mosaic Design (tuesdays), Sculpture (thursdays) and Teen Arts and Design 101 (fridays). There will be a class at 6:00 and a class at 7:15 p.m. with a limit of 8 students per class. Registrations are currently being accepted on a first come basis at our front desk. We are also offering classes through our partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts (pre-registration required). For more information please contact Jessica Hulslander (jhulslander@bgcdorchester.org).

Women’s Leadership Awards
- Congratulations to Barbara Lynch, Ellen Zane, Myechia Minter-Jordan, MD, MBA, and Kristen McCosh who were presented New England Women’s Leadership Awards this past week by Club members Jaylene Peguero, Shannon Casey, Aicha Tavres and Alexa Lescinskas respectively. The 21st Annual event, attended by over 400 guests, was held at the Seaport Hotel. Our thanks to BNY Mellon, our Title Sponsor as well as Suffolk Construction and EMC as Silver Sponsors and The Marr Companies and Best Buddies as Bronze Sponsors. We would also like to thank Event Chair, Joanne Jaxtimer, Regional Executive, BNY Mellon as well as our Event Emcee, Lisa Hughes, from WBZ-TV for their leadership and participation.

Music Clubhouse Showcase - On 5/16 members of our Music Clubhouse program will travel to the Strand Theater to take part in the Music Clubhouse Showcase. The event will feature acts from all the Music Clubhouse locations in the region performing on the same stage. The evnt is open to parents and clubs members with pre-registration required.
