May Program Highlights - The month of May will offer a number of special events. On 5/1 we will be hosting a teen trip to the NECAC College Fair while on 5/2 we will be joined by members of the Boston Police Cadets program for a Fun Fitness Challenge. On 5/5 we will hold the Music Lesson Recital also known as “Springfest.” Mid-month events include the Women’s Leadership Awards (5/8), a Teen Pool Party (5/9), and a Celebration to mark the end of our U-Mass Tutoring program for the year at the Denney Center. On 5/14 members of the Philopsophy Club at the Denney Center will hold their Philosophy in the Park Event while on 5/15 we will host a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts through the Community Partnerships Initiative. On 5/16 the Teen program will take a trip to Lazer Quest followed by 3 events on 5/17, including All-Star Games for the Intermediate/Senior Basketball League, members of the Intramural Swim League attending the Watertown BGC Relay Carnival, and Keystone members volunteering at the Greater Boston Food Bank. On 5/22 we will attend the Statewide Youth of the Year event while on 5/23 we will host Open Mic Night and attend the Operation Progress Scholarship Ceremony. To close out the month we will attend the Diplomas to Degrees Higher Education Conference in NH (5/30) and host the Triple Play Olympics (5/31). Art Program Director
- The Club is pleased to announce that Jessica Hulslander, our new Arts Program Director, will begin this week. Jessica will be offering evening classes in May and June for members ages 7 to 12 interested in taking part. Classes will take place at 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. and will begin the week of 5/5.
