Operation Progress Scholarships - Congratulations to Club Seniors Josh Johnson (Pat D’Arrigo Scholarship), Dayra Diaz (John Coughlin Scholarship), and Courtney Garside (Nancy Amhrein Scholarship), each of whom has been awarded a $10,000 College Scholarship through our partnership with Operation Progress. The program not only provides financial support, but matches each recipient with a Mentor for the duration of their College career. I/S Basketball All-Star Games - This past weekend our Club hosted All-Star teams from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine’s Portland Unit to play our Intermediate and Senior division stars. In the Intermediate division Portland captured a 61-55 win with Darian Kavu (9 points), Erilson Teixeira (8 points), A-jaye Cooper (7 points), Johnny DePina (7 points), Aaron Hawkins (6 points), Luis Rodriguez (6 points), Dante Lopes (4 points), Malik Montrond ( 4 points) and De’Andre Dew-Hollis (2 points) leading the way. Our Senior Stars fell by a score of 48-46 with Tyson Thomas (12 points), Jamal Diaz (9 points), Kevin Mirville (8 points), Derek Dykens (7 points), and Ke’Andre Henderson (5 points) leading the offense.

SBLI Kids Football Clinic with Tedy Bruschi - On 6/9, 10 lucky members of the Club have been invited to Gillette Stadium to take part in the SBLI Football Clinic with former NE Patriots star, Tedy Bruschi. Our members will be treated to dinner, a tour of the locker room and a personalized jersey in addition to the Clinic. Our thanks to SBLI for making this special opportunity available to our members.
