Winter Fine Arts Classes

Winter Fine Arts Classes - The Winter slate of registered Fine Arts classes is set and some openings still remain. We will offer beginner and intermediate level classes as follows: Painting & Color Theory (mondays); Architecture Design (tuesdays); Sculpture (wednesdays); Design 101 (thursdays) and; Art Sampler (fridays). Classes will begin the week of 1/12. Congratulations to all of the young artists who exhibited their Fall works as part of our “Arts Bash” week. Education Program News
- The Education program will return in January with drop-in Homework Help, 1:1 Tutoring, and a variety of registered classes for members to join. Homework Help will be offered after school while the 1:1 Tutoring program, which meets weekly, requires pre-registration. Our small group activities will include: Quirkles Science Club, Global Explorers, Reading Buddies, ITech Computer Skills, Engineering Everywhere, Teen Philosophy Club, and Chess Champions. There will also be special events and workshops offered as part of the College Bound program for our teen members. “Arts Bash” Week
- Our Fall Arts programming came to an end last week with our “Arts Bash” week. There was a recital with participants in the Music Lesson program, a Film Festival with students from the Video program, a Fine Arts & Photography exhibit and a Music Showcase to close the week. We also hosted the CitiWang Center for a special reading and a trip to the Nutcracker. Congratulations to all the members on a great week.
