Safe Summer Streets Program
The Club’s Safe Summer Streets Program will kick-off it’s 27th season on 7/6 with an Opening Night celebration. The program will run on a 3:00 - 11:00 p.m. schedule and is open to teen members ages 13-18. There is limited transportation home each evening. Registrations are currently being accepted for the Basketball League with separate divisions for Girls, Intermediate Boys (ages 13-15) and Senior Boys (ages 15-18). Other activities include a Summer Swim Team, Coding Class, Volleyball League, Career Fair, Career Prep program, Swim Lessons, and more.The program is being supported by a grant from the Massachusetts Convention Center. NFTE Academy
The Club is pleased to partner for the 2nd consecutive year with the NFTE (Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship) program to offer two Academies this Summer on the Campus of Suffolk University. There will be a Co-ed Academy and a Girls Empower! Academy offered from 7/25-8/5. The Academies are open to those entering 8th grade through High School Seniors. Members will learn how to create and design their own business plan. There will be a trip to NYC, a selling event and prizes for the top business plans presented. Challenger Baseball League
Baseball, the Spring session of the Martin Richard Challenger Sports program, will conclude on 6/18 with game action and a family BBQ. The Challenger Sports program offers Soccer, Basketball, Swimming and Baseball seasonally througout the school year.
