Ashmont / Peabody Square Farmers' Market

Buy your fresh, local food at the Ashmont/Peabody Square Farmers' Market which happens every Friday July to mid October, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, on the Ashmont Station plaza at the corner of Dorchester Ave and Ashmont Street. The market is run by St Marks Area Main Street and sponsored by Eastern Bank. Market vendors include Spring Brook Farm of Littleton, MA, a family farm since 1713; certified organic Langwater Farm of North Easton; Red's Best Seafood; and Dorchester's own Tavolo Ristorante, selling pasta, sauce and meatballs, plus Cedar Grove Gardens flowers and plants, and new local artists' creations for sale each week from the Dorchester Arts Collaborative.

To make healthy food available to all, vendors accept SNAP Food Stamps EBT, WIC coupons, and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition coupons. SNAP up to $10 will be matched by "Boston Bounty Bucks" a great way to double your purchasing power. Select vendors have other discounts every week as well.
