Mayor gets sneak peek at new library

Mayor Tom Menino, right, took a tour of the new Mattapan branch of the Boston Public Library on Monday with Joe Mulligan, left, the Deputy Director of the city's Capital Construction division. The new library, at the corner of Blue Hill Ave. and Babson Street, will open to the public on Saturday. The $16 million facility replaces an antiquated building on Hazelton Street.
