UMass Boston, Campus Center Ballroom

Mayor Thomas M. Menino will kick off Parent University, which is designed to help parents increase their understanding of how children learn and develop. Funded in part by stimulus dollars, the program was developed by the BPS Office of Family and Student Engagement and features a variety of courses in English and Spanish. When parents complete classes they earn Parent University Points and “graduate” in June by earning 10 points.
