11:00 AM Zipcar “Low-Car” Diet Announcement
South Station, Main Concourse, 700 Atlantic Avenue

Mayor Menino will join representatives from Zipcar, as the company launches its “Low-Car” Diet challenge in Boston. Along with the 12 other Zipcar cities across the United States and in London, Zipcar is challenging Boston’s residents to give up everyday driving for 30 days, and instead walk, bike, or use public transportation or Zipcar.

2:00 PM 2010 NHL Winter Classic Announcement
Fenway Park, 4 Yawkey Way

Mayor Menino and executives from the National Hockey League, including Commissioner Garry Bettman, will celebrate the 2010 NHL Winter Classic coming to Boston. Fenway Park will play host to the NHL’s third annual outdoor hockey game featuring the Boston Bruins.
