State Comptroller's Division for over 30 years. John was active in local, state, and national politics. He was a Presidential Elector and member of the Massachusetts Electoral College in 1996. He was a member and Parliamentarian of the Massachusetts Democratic State Committee. John also belonged to the Knights of Columbus and the Braintree Viking Club.
