Come out and get your laugh on with some really funny comedians: Lady Vain, Just Al and Steven Donovan will make you laugh.
After the show is the After Party. Playing the old school R & B and block party mixes will be DJ Joe Peters. After you laugh , it will be time to GET DOWN with the old school dances like the Wop, the Cabbage Patch, the Running Man, the Bus Stop, and the Prep. Tickets are $10. Food will be for sale at the party, cash bar.

Warrant search yields gun stash at Morton Street home

Boston Police relay news of a weapons cache that was seized during a search of a Morton Street home by the B-3 Drug Control Unit on Tuesday (May 12). An 18 year-old man was arrested and faces a series of drugs and gun charges.


DotOUT is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and their allies who live and work in Dorchester. The group hosts social events and civic activities, endorses political candidates, and supports charitable causes to improve the quality of life in Dorchester.

Nomination sought for Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition awards

The Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition (MFFC) will recognize an individual (adult or youth) or community organization that has made outstanding contributions to Mattapan through continued efforts to improve the health of residents. D.A.; Steven Odom's killer was himself murdered

A-19 year-old Mattapan man has been arrested and charged for his role in the 2007 murder of 13-year-old Steven Odom, a crime that stunned the neighborhood. Suffolk County DA Daniel Conley announced Saturday that the teen who allegedly pulled the trigger – Charles Bunch, Jr. – was himself the victim of a homicide in Mattapan 10 days after Odom was killed.  Read more
