BRA meeting on proposed new building on BC High's campus

The Boston Redevelopment Authority will convene a public meeting this evening to discuss BC High's plans to construct a new 28,000 sq ft. addition to its existing campus on Morrissey Blvd. The meeting will be held at the school's Murphy Alumni Room, Loyola Hall, 150 Morrissey Blvd., 6:30 p.m.

The BRA is leading a Small Project Review for the Cadigan Hall Project (“Proposed Project”) pursuant to Article 80E of the Boston Zoning Code (the “Code”).

The Proposed Project includes the construction of a new 28,000 square foot athletic and fine arts addition to its existing campus. The proposed addition, identified as “Cadigan Hall”, connects to the existing campus buildings in two locations: parallel to the existing “breezeway” adjacent to McNeice Pavilion and at the east end of Cushing Hall (“Proposed Project”).

Comments from the City’s public agencies should be submitted to the Lance Campbell by Monday September 10, 2012.
