Transportation issues to be discussed in Mattapan meeting

The Executive Office of Transportation (EOT) will convene a meeting at 5:30 p.m. to "discuss transportation issues in Mattapan. The topics of discussion will include passenger amenities at Mattapan Station, progress on Ashmont Station and its relationship to the Mattapan High Speed Trolley service, and the Fairmount Line Improvements project (including Blue Hill Avenue Station). The meeting will also serve as an opportunity to provide the community with a summary of the recent Community Planning Workshops for the 28X Bus Enhancement project."

The Mattapan Transportation Meeting will be held on:

June 30, 2009 – 5:30– 7:30p.m.
Mildred Avenue Middle School
5 Mildred Avenue, Mattapan

This meeting is intended to be a follow-up to the meeting held at the same location on May 26, and will provide an opportunity for the community to discuss local transportation issues with Secretary of Transportation James A. Aloisi, Jr.; Senators Jack Hart and Sonia Chang-Diaz; Representatives Linda Dorcena Forry, Willie Mae Allen, and Marie St. Fleur; and the MBTA.
