Ashmont Nursery School auction and reception
By
Ashmont Nursery School’s biggest fundraising event of the year happens at the Carpenters Center, 750 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, with silent and live auctions for some of the most coveted items in the city. Mingle over cocktails and delicious local foods while bidding on a new piece of art by Vincent Crotty, a dream night at the Celtics or seats at The Boston Ballet!
In 2013, Ashmont Nursery School celebrates it’s 28th year as a parent-run cooperative pre-school serving children and their families from several Boston neighborhoods, including Dorchester, South Boston, Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, Milton and Quincy. This unique, non-profit school model has an excellent reputation both as a fine program and as a wonderful way to build community. The families of Ashmont Nursery School proudly reflect the rich diversity of the surrounding area. This auction is the school’s biggest annual fundraising event and proceeds will provide funding for scholarships, arts programs, field trips, teacher training, and other costs not covered by tuition.
