Architects of Freedom: Rise of the Abolitionists

Joseph Edgecombe will discuss pivotal events in the rise of the abolitionist movement in Boston during the 19th century. Mr. Edgcombe will identify the discovery of historical sites such as the scene of the Boston Mob Riot of 1835 and Stacy Hall, home of the Anti-Slavery Office and The Liberator newspaper.
