Harvard Street, BPHC host forum on "Obamacare"
The public is invited to attend a presentation Friday morning at Harvard Street Neighborhood Health Center with its staff and representatives of the Boston Public Health Commission. Residents will learn details of the new Affordable Care Act law, relevant deadlines and will be able to get questions answered and any help they might need with enrollment.
Harvard Street President and CEO Charley Murphy praised the Boston Public Health Commission for its help in making sure residents know important requirements.
“We are grateful to the health commission for its partnership at this critical time in letting folks know what they need to do and what to expect as the law goes into effect and how it will affect them,” said Murphy. “Getting across accurate information about the law is so important to its success and to improving everyone’s access to health care.”
