Sun, 02/02/2014 (All day)

February 2 is Groundhog Day! Join BNAN staff and volunteers, for a winter stroll exploring the new section of the Neponset Greenway trail slated for construction later this spring. Start at Martini Shell Park with the destination of Paul's Bridge and Burma Road, the gateway to the Blue Hills. This short walk will contrast the roadside trail route with the sheltered woods and riverside will find in lovely Fowl Meadow. Members of the Neponset Greenway River Greenway Council will be the guides.

The group will meet at 1:00 p.m. at Martini Shell Park, 1015 Truman Parkway, Hyde Park. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours. We are planning to hike unless there is severe weather.
