Boston’s Youth Doing Positive Things through Cultural Arts

Raising Aspirations is a brand new youth cultural arts center with a goal to create unique and innovative programs that connect cultural art education with the academic and social development of youth.

This summer, Raising Aspirations presents its 1st Annual Youth Summer Concert Series to showcase the many talents that the youth in Boston possess in Music, Dance, Drama, and Art! This exciting concert series is a two-day event recurring throughout the summer, twice in July and once in August.

Day One serves as a training/workshop day of instruction, insight, and conversations about how “the arts” help young people best communicate ideas through skill and concentration. Day Two is the concert that showcases their talent through performance and display.

The staff of Raising Aspirations invites everyone to support our next generation of dancers, musicians, actors/actresses, and artists at the first showcase of the series on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the Anthony D. Perkins Community Center at 155 Talbot Ave in Dorchester.
Show begins at 5pm, doors open at 4:30! Be there!
