City Councillors to host Black History Month celebration

Boston City Councillors Charles C. Yancey, Ayanna Pressley, and Tito Jackson, and Blacks In Government’s (BIG) Boston Chapter, will host Coming Together: A Black History Month Celebration on Thursday, February 23, 12 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Boston City Hall in the Iannella Chambers, 5th Floor.

The featured keynote speaker, Jemadari Kamara, PhD, is associate professor of Africana Studies, College of Liberal Arts; and director of The Center for African, Caribbean and Community Development at the University of Massachusetts/Boston.
