![]() © 2002, S. Cosmopulos, OFD Association OFD Association GREETINGS... and thank you for your inquiry about our organization, ORIGINALLY FROM DORCHESTER (OFD). Our group was formed in 1985 by Steve Cosmopulos, President of the Boston advertising firm of Cosmopulos, Crowley and Daley, Inc., and by Ed Forry, Editor of the Dorchester Reporter, Dorchester's Hometown Newspaper. The OFD Association is purely a "for-fun" effort, designed to provide a link for thousands of people who were born and brought up in Dorchester, Mass., U.S.A. At the beginning of 1987, there were about 120 OFD members around the world, with former Dorchester people now living in states from Maine to California. There's even an OFD bumper sticker on a car traveling around the streets of New Zealand. Membership in OFD entitles you to: Colorful Membership Certificate Membership costs just $10.00 per person. Membership kits will be mailed out upon receipt of membership fees. In the future: We plan an all Dorchester reunion, and hope to inaugurate a "Dorchester Hall of Fame" to provide nostalgic recognition to some of our "Greats". To join: simply sendan email request, and write your Visa or Mastercard number and expiration date. Alternatively, send the info by postal mail with your remittance to the address above.. We are not always available to answer your inquiries over the phone, but are delighted to send you more information about OFD. Again, thanks for your inquiry. We
hope that this fact sheet will help answer some of your
questions. Sincerely,
