JP Gazette: FBI photo of Turner makes Henriquez 'nervous'

District 7 candidate Carlos Henriquez has often walked around the federal corruption charges levied against Councillor Chuck Turner.

But now he's getting "nervous," he tells the Jamaica Plain Gazette, about the surveillance video that FBI officials released to the press that allegedly shows Turner accepting a $1,000 bribe. (Turner has pleaded not guilty.)

Also: the Gazette reports that Henriquez needs a crash course in campaign finance law and how it works.

Local NOW PAC endorses Henriquez and three for at-large

The political action committee of the Boston chapter of MassNOW (National Organization for Women) has endorsed three candidates running for City Council At-Large: former Kerry aide Ayanna Pressley; Felix Arroyo, son of the city councillor; and Tito Jackson, a Patrick administration official. Most interesting is their endorsement of Carlos Henriquez, who is running against incumbent District 7 Councillor Chuck Turner. BostonNOW is one of nine local MassNOW chapters.
