Pastor JLF and the Blessed Hope Tabernacle, Youth Pastor of The Holy Tabernacle Church Elder Hu White and Gospel Unlimited, First Haitian Baptist Church, and 4 Stars Dance Company all of Dorchester will perform as part of Whittier Street Health Center’s 10th Annual “Saving the Health of the Community International Benefit Gospel Concert” on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at the Berklee Performance Center, Boston.
In an American Idol-style competition the annual event will feature eight other notable gospel performers and choirs from around New England and honor community leaders Colette A.M Phillips, President and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications, and William E. Dickerson founding Pastor of Greater Love Tabernacle for their civic involvement and commitment to improving the quality of life for citizens in Boston and New England. The evening will be hosted by gospel music legend and Black Entertainment Television host Dr. Bobby Jones.
