Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m., April 16 & 23 and May 7 – June 11 come learn the ancient art of mosaics and create your own. The workshop will include a brief history of tile mosaics, current trends in the field of mosaics, and will provide the technical skill needed to create a beautiful work of art. Participants will agree on a theme and make a part of a "mosaic quilt" to be displayed at an exhibition of the work from the class held on June 20th from 6 - 7:45 p.m. Participants will then get to bring their part of the work home.
