A 21-year-old Norfolk Street man is behind bars this week on high bail after he was arrested last week and charged in a child porn investigation. Luis Gonzalez was ordered held on $35,000 bail at his arraignment in Dorchester District Court on July 2. Gonzalez is alleged to have shared explicit images and videos of children using a peer-to-peer file-sharing program.
Boston Police arrested him last Friday after they seized his computers and storage drives which prosecutors say contained graphic images of children. Police also recovered what they believe is crack cocaine in their search. Gonzalez was out on bail from an earlier case of alleged assault and battery and other charges from a Lawrence court.
His bail in that case was revoked by Dorchester court Judge James Coffey on Tuesday. Gonzalez is due back in court on August 1.
