THE DAY AHEAD: City Councillor At-Large John Connolly has held a meet-and-greet in South Boston and fills out the rest of the day with meet-and-greets with voters in the North End, Fenway, and the South End, with a 1 p.m. stop at City Hall Plaza for Lebanon Day. Codman Square Health co-founder Bill Walczak will be at Mattapan Library at 10:30 a.m. for a “Regional System of Care Candidates Meeting,” before heading to an Adams Village Business Association meeting at 12:30 p.m.
WALSH TO GO UP ON TV: State Rep. Marty Walsh will be making his first television ad buy, starting this week. WBUR has the details . Walsh will also be on WCVB’s political chat show, “On the Record,” this Sunday at 11 a.m. The show’s co-host, Janet Wu, has a preview  of what he’ll be saying on the show, which tapes on Thursdays. "Mondays with Marty" continues on Sept. 16, at the Haley House in Roxbury at 7:30 p.m.
NEW ARROYO AD: City Councillor At-Large Felix Arroyo’s campaign is launching a new television ad that is expected to start airing next week through the Sept. 24 preliminary. The ad features  Arroyo with his wife and surrounded by children.
‘RUNNING WITH ROSS’: Keying on his television advertisement that features him jogging through his district and handing out his campaign platform, City Councillor Michael Ross’s campaign said the candidate will be joining running groups under the banner of “Running with Ross.” The first is Sept. 18, starting at 5:30 a.m. on Farnham St.; he joins the Forest Hill Runners on Sept. 20 at 6 a.m. at the Stony Brook T Station; the City Sports Running Club on Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. at 1035 Commonwealth Ave.; and the L Street Running Club on Sept. 22 at 7:30 a.m. at the Curley Community Center.
