27 days to Nov. 5. Six days until the first televised debate between the two finalists. The bus drivers’ strike, which Mayor Thomas Menino and both candidates looking to succeed him have condemned, could be over. Boston Public Schools website had this banner at the top this morning: "School buses are on the road this morning; some delays possible; schools open one hour early for drop-offs; afternoon service unclear." (Ward 4 Democrats, who endorsed Charlotte Golar Richie in the preliminary, are backing Connolly, the group said on Twitter last night, while the Globe’s Jim O’Sullivan reported that another Golar Richie backer, state Rep.
