The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) began public skating hours at the agency's eight indoor ice skating rinks— including the Devine rink on Morrissey Blvd. in Dorchester— on Wed., Nov. 27. Public skating at the outdoor Kelly Rink in Jamaica Plain will begin in mid-December, weather permitting. To celebrate the start of public skating and Thanksgiving, DCR rinks will be open for free public skating between 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 27, with the exception of Emmons Horrigan O'Neil Rink in Charlestown.
The Devine Skating Rink (617-436-4356) is open for public skating on:
Tuesday-Thursday 12 p.m. - 2p.m.;
Friday from 12p.m. - 2p.m. and 7p.m. - 9p.m.;
Saturday 7p.m. - 9p.m.
and Sunday from 2 p.m. - 4p.m.
