Updated: A 45 year-old man was struck by a hit-and-run driver at the intersection of Dudley Street and Columbia Road on Tuesday night at 11 p.m. The victim, who has not been identified, is in â€œseriousâ€ condition with head trauma at Boston Medical Center, according to Boston Police.
Police are now asking for the publicâ€™s help in finding the car and its driver. The suspectâ€™s car is described as a white Honda Accord coupe.
Elaine Driscoll, a spokesperson for the Boston Police Department, said that the car would have sustained damage in the incident.
â€œWe are asking any local auto body shops to be on the lookout and, obviously, anyone who may know someone who owns a car like this with damage to it, weâ€™re asking them to contact us,â€ said Driscoll. â€œWe did have witnesses at the scene who assisted us with the carâ€™s description.â€
