The Dorchester House Guys and Gals Senior Club meets every Tuesday under the Leadership of Rosemary Gallagher for BINGO starting at 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Jumpstart Community Corps is looking for older adult volunteers (the majority of our volunteers are 55 or older) to work in preschool classrooms in Mattapan to help prepare children for school success. Volunteer will work in a preschool classroom two afternoons a week, either at Ellison Parks EEC or the Mattapan Head Start, helping children build their language and literacy skills. For $5, fill up a grocery bag with all the vegetables and fruits you want. Fresh, local produce is provided by Brookwood Farms, located in Milton, MA, in partnership with the Gallivan Task Force and the Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition.
