Jumpstart Community Corps is looking for older adult volunteers (the majority of our volunteers are 55 or older) to work in preschool classrooms in Mattapan to help prepare children for school success. Volunteer will work in a preschool classroom two afternoons a week, either at Ellison Parks EEC or the Mattapan Head Start, helping children build their language and literacy skills. New clients only need to bring with them a valid I.D. and proof of some sort of state assistance (i.e MassHealth, SDI, DTA, Housing, etc). Starting Friday July 10th Neponset Health Center will be hosting a health insurance table hosted by a Neighborhood Health Plan representative. Neighborhood Health Plan will be in the lobby of the Neponset Health Center every other Friday from 9am-2pm with information on the health insurance plans that are available to everyone.
